Review summary

Cruising is like pizza, There is no bad pizza. Princess to us is the best pizza but we love all cruises.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Green lane, pretty much walked right in with just a short wait in line.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Besides a good slice of cake everything was great. We have yet to find a good slice of cake in any cruise line… maybe we are just too cake picky. lol.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lloyd and the rest of the cruise director assistants are awesome, friendly and had many fun activities through out the day and into the night.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Three comedians, 2 singers and magician on top of several production shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I can’t say enough good things about the crew.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I would put a glass down and someone was there within moments to collect it. Everything was sparkly clean. Typical Princess layout, if you know one ship you know them all (excluding the new Sun class)

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This room is a standard balcony but is more of a premium balcony. It sticks out twice as far as a normal one and you can look out over all other balconies all the way up to the bridge.

Ports of call

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

The beaches are nice, the bbq was horrid as it was covered in fly’s. Just wait to eat back on board. The drink package does work on the island so that was a plus. We rented a clamshell, worth every penny.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

We went in a snorkel excursion. There used to be a Wendy’s right there if you want a Caribbean frosty… lol.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

If you are healthy and can climb steep rock piles and up root structures for 4 miles then climbing up the volcano is for you. Look up Captain sunshine tours. Adrian is awesome.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Flying Dutchman, it’s worth doing once in your life. The views up there were fantastic.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

The Baths and Devils beach are a must.

St. John's, Antigua

Just wanted a taxi to a beach 6 miles away. $80 round trip…. No thank you.

Disembarkation

We had a tight connection, this was the 1st time we did self assist. We got in line about 7. We were cleared at 730. We were in a taxi by 745 and at the airport by 8 to find our flight was delayed by 2 hours.
