This was the cruise portion of a cruisetour (land and sea). It was the first visit to Europe for many of our group of 10. The choices of ports was good and we felt that we were able to experience a lot during the trip.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
Southampton was the most difficult embarkation process ever. I think some was due to so many getting Covid test done at the port and having to wait for results.
The port was packed with people and no clear direction of where to go to check in. After check in the wait to embark the ship was very crowded and long.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was clean and comfortable. We’ve been on this ship before so we’re very familiar with the layout and easiest route to all other venues.
Our tender broke down while on the way to the dock. We spent about 2 hours bobbing around in the damp, cool weather waiting on a rescue. We never got to go on land.
Thanks for the review, finally.😂. I like this itinerary. Except the part where you bobbed up and down in the tender. What an adventure you had. Thanks for sharing it with us.
