Review summary

Overall, this was a great holiday cruise. The ship is showing its age and there was a musty mildew smell in the hallways on deck 8 and on the port day, there was a heavy sewage smell in the Lotus Spa and that Lido deck. Not sure what was happening but it seemed to resolve itself after a few hours. All of the pools were heated and that was great. The jacuzzis were not super warm and they were mostly filled with children. Service was spectacular as always!

Got a note that embarkation was delayed until 2pm. Arrived at port at 1pm and were on the ship in a few minutes. Super quick and organized!

SHARE by Curtis Stone was amazing and a great value at $29. MDR was fine and actually I thought they did a nice turkey dinner for thanksgiving. We had the premium drinks package. Sad to see that canned soda ans large waters are no longer included. Also, alcoholic beverages are limited to 15 per day. I did actually hit this one day because I was drinking beer by the pool, but I didn’t like having to think about it.

First time in an ocean view. Same amount of space as a balcony. Cabins on this ship look a bit dated, but there is plenty of space, especially in the closet.

Ship tip

The Vines wine bar is a great place for a great glass of wine and you get free sushi or tapas with a drink.
