Review summary

We especially enjoyed  New Zealand! The scenery unbelievable. The land tour done by Denise was great. What a great, caring hostess! We had been on this particular ship before so knew what to expect except to find a bunch of "tweens " on board for Holiday. Lots of kids!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Maybe too many times on the same ship but food was so-so as far as appeal .

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We are not ready for rockers. Activities seemed to be geared that way

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Sub par entertainment this go round. Music WAY to LOUD! Not Party Poopers just TOO LOUD

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
With poor weather for 3 days kids had nothing to do!

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin steward did his job. Kept cabin clean. Crawling into bed because of night stand was a pain

Ship tip

Be careful when selecting dates to avoid "Holidays"

We would love to visit NZ and AUS. on Emerald Princess.  We had such a wonderful time on our Med. cruise in June 2015.  LOVED it!

Yes . I was on the same cruise. The little pricks wouldn't get out of the spa. But it was a great cruise.

yes. That was a big issue for us at Christmas on the Emerald. Hundreds of kids and it would seem the kids clubs weren't good enough as they were in the publuc areas All the cruise.....very unusual as far as our experience goes for holiday season. our 5th Christmas cruise.
