Review summary

Second cruise on the Emerald, I seem to be caught each time.  First cruise we lost all power for 5 hours leaving Ft Lauderdale, this time high winds kept us in Rhodes missing Crete (even though 6 other ships left port while we remained tied up).  Service in general seems to be going downhill on Princess, this was cruise number 5 on Princess.  Also, the shows were not as good, and the food quality is not as good since the extra cost dining was added.  I will try Princess again, but not Emerald.

Ship tip

Do not count on port calls. We could have sailed, captain used winds as excuse (all other ships left port during same winds). Only ports I have missed have been on the Emerald, including five years in the U.S. Navy.
