7 Night Western Caribbean (Houston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: January 25, 2015
Ship: Emerald Princess
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple

The food and service was excellent.  The entertainment could be improved on by relying less on the "Princess Singers and Dancers" which was 3 of the performances.  Also there was a lot of "selling".

Ship Tip

We had an ocean view room which was just fine. Our friends paid twice as much and had a mini-suite. Considering the amount of time (not counting sleeping) in the room I would not consider paying extra. Same food, entertainment, and service no matter how much you pay.

The beach is just a small walk from the dock.

You had to take a tender to get to the port which is an hour round trip. Not much to see if your not taking a side trip.

For $15 each way (up to 4 people) you can go to a beautiful beach which cost $3 per person and has a pool, beach, lounge chairs, and bar with food.
