Review summary
The Grandkids, LOVED the cruise. They enjoyed the fun things to do, the food and seeing Alaska.
The Grandparents LOVED the cruise also. It was great to know the kids were safe and having fun. They went above and beyond to keep them safe in the restaurants as they both have severe food allergies.
Disney makes a point of making sure their employees are all friendly and helpful to all the guests. I did not encounter even one staff member that wasn't outgoing, friendly and helpful. The cruise is extremely efficient in getting people on and off in ports. No long lines - ever.
My only complaint was (that since it is very expensive and I choose to take an inside cabin) the noise was bothersome when trying to sleep. I think it was due to the water pipes or other ship mechanisms working near our room.

Ship tip
There is a new tram/rail system in Vancouver that takes you to within about a block or two of the port. It's around $5 per person. If your hotel is close to the rail system this is a good way to save on transfers if you don't mind pulling your bags - 10 min walk.
