Review summary

The staff was truly excellent. Very friendly and always helpful. The ship was super clean and lots of activities on board. Being in Alaska you can't take advantage of the pools on ship but there are other activities and movies being played constantly all day. We had our 15 month old with us. He went to the nursery throughout the week but it was hard at night to make it to all the shows because he needed to be in bed. I think the ideal age to bring kids would start around 3 years old where they can be part of the kids club. All in all wonderful family experience!

I would definitely pay a little extra to have a verandah on this cruise. Especially the day you view the glacier we could just sit in our room and enjoy room service instead of trying to cram on the decks to view.

Ship tip

Add the Disney cruise app to your phone before you get on ship. They offer free wifi use of the app. The app tells you the day's schedule and extra tidbits about the day. And you can message others in your party who have the app.
