We have been on a few cruises and being food lovers, we enjoy the wonderful meals that are served. This was our first Disney cruise. We were very disappointed with the Disney Wonder Alaskan cruise. The menus were great but the meals were not even close to other cruises. My husband even lost weight!! Other guest on the ship were talking about it and I see other reviews that mention meals not up to par. Very disappointed.
Ship Quality
Everything was topnotch
Food and Dining
Food was horrid, but staff was wonderful
Cabin / Stateroom
very clean, larger than expected and very comfortable
Service and Staff
couldnt ask for better. Danish was our "cabin boy" and he was such a wonderful guy. Vesko, our waiter was the best. he was a 20 on a scale of 1-10!
Entertainment
Always something for everyone going on. But theaters filled up very fast.
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
in Juneau our excursion was canceled but were never told until we showed up. Then they put us on the next one and said they would call us if it was canceled. Again they never called & it was canceled. so we wasted most of out time there waiting for something that didnt happen. Bust we loved the towns that we got to explore.
Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia
Don't miss Stanley Park, and if traveling with children, put a whole day adide for a trip to Science World. Book a hotel near Canada Place.
Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska
unbelievable.
Skagway, Alaska
Great little town to walk and explore. Grab a bite to eat at the Red Onion Saloon and take an afternoon ride on the railroad!
Juneau, Alaska
book any air excursions for the afternoons. Grab a beer at the Red Dog Saloon, lunch at Traceys crab legs and take a ride on the Mt Roberts tram. saw a lot of bald eagles in the town!
Ketchikan, Alaska
Duck boat tour was intetesting and if you like to fish, they have a great salmon fishing excursion.

Tip

Explore all they offer!
