Review summary

It was magical and created a standard for future cruises that is still difficult to match

Embarkation

5 out of 5
With Disney, they welcome everyone like royalty. When you embark, they will call your party name and crew members applaud when you walk in. Then one crew will ask you where you want to go and will guide you.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food is exceptional. I have done several other cruises since and the only way you can match Disney's food quality is by paying extra for the specialty restaurants. This is standard on Disney. Disney also includes all non-alcoholic drinks as part of the cost of the cruise, so no need for expensive drink packages.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
So many activities to do, it is actually hard to relax. If you have kids, the kids clubs are fantastic and your kids will not want to leave it.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Hard to beat Disney's entertainment. Broadway quality musicals almost every night. They also have a full movie theater onboard that plays movies that are still in theatres. In many cruises, you will even see a movie not yet released. We saw Bolt on that cruise and it only came to theatre a few weeks after.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My kids were 3 and 5. We always traveled with them, at least once per year. This cruise was the first real vacation we had, since the kids spent all day in the kids club and they had a blast. We had to negotiate with them to take them out for family dinners.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a deluxe verandah. This had a unique feature, aside from the balcony, it had a double bathroom concept. One bathroom with a shower and sink and another one with a toilet and another sink. Very convenient when you have kids and adults in a room

Ship tip

Prepare to be swept away
