Disney Magic

5 Night Bahamas (Miami Roundtrip)

Sail date: February 22, 2019

Ship: Disney Magic

Cabin type: Inside

Cabin number: 6019

Traveled as: Family (young children)

Review summary

Disney staff is A+. Food is delicious! Ship feels a little crowded, but part of that may be the number of young children on board as they tend to wander. I enjoy seeing the families with children, though!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Rapunzel’s is new, and there was a show that took place during dinner. The sound was so amplified/loud that we were unable to hear our waiter or fellow diners.

Onboard Activities

Pools, movies, fireworks, family dance parties...

Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean & comfortable

Ship tip

Inside staterooms with the layout of room 6019 (short & wide rather than long & narrow from the perspective of the doorway) feel roomier. Easier to get around in.

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

Not this time, but recommend the trolley toyr

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

Vendors are very assertive. Taxis are not reliable as far as returning in a timely manner. Prefer to stay on board and enjoy an “empty” ship.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

Disembarkation

Dislike rushing off so early in the morning. Brings a relaxing vacation to an abrupt end. Breakfast & luggage went smoothly, though.
