Fantastic way to see Europe

Sail Date: May 31, 2014

Room Type: Oceanview

This cruise was an excellent way to get to see several wonderful European destinations without having our 7 year old end up bored.  At the conclusion, he said that he wasn't sure whether he liked the at sea days or the port days more, which is huge when he doesn't want to leave the kids club.  A really fantastic cruise with wonderful excursions and ports.

Barcelona, Spain
fantastic paella!
Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France
very quaint, lovely to walk around
La Spezia, Italy
don't limit your visit to just Pisa - there is so much more in this area
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
bring a book on the bus and leave your backpack when the guide says to do so.
Naples, Italy
definitely do not miss the Amalfi coast.

This ship is one of the smaller ones, so you really get to know more of the staff, which makes for a more personal experience.
