After a 3 year hiatus sailing again was well worth the wait. Being away from the stress and watching as we sailed along to the Southern Caribbean was magical. This being the fifth Disney cruise, there are things to look for and take note of. One thing that was lacking was the Port Adventures staff. They were not useful and rarely opened. On a 9 night cruise many may think that you will find time to talk with them, but that was rarely the case as they were open just before port arrival for about an hour and a half and from 7-8:30 PM. I’m guessing this is because of staffing shortages, but the Port Adventures staff did not do the best the could. More to be discussed later. Adult entertainment was lacking and much less than it used to be. Repeat shows, etc.

We truly had a great time and glad we finally went on a Disney Cruise.

A week went by so fast. There's still so much I would like to do although we did do so much. Many special memories made for my family, can't wait to sail Disney Cruise Lines again!!

I was hesitant to ever go on another cruise after my poor experience with Carnival. Great friends persuaded us to go on a Disney Cruise with them because it was be much better. They couldn’t have been more right. Best vacation our family has ever had!

My family and I really enjoyed our Disney Cruise. After several postponements and a cancellation, it was great to finally be able to experience our first Disney Cruise. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of taking a cruise.

Our first Disney Cruise. Compared to other cruises there was better and not better depends what you like to do. I heard some things were still post covid limited. Pros- theming, staff, well kept ship, cabin, people and their excitement level magnet trades etc. Cons- additional cost, no casino,

Very expensive cruise for what it provides. Internet drains money and you have to be watching all the time to make sure you sign out. Internet should be unlimited for a price. The app is fantastic but the activities are not clear. All adult activities and excursions are sold in advance so if you did not reserve up front you won't have nothing to do but lay down and watch Disney movies at the pool.

We've cruised 3 times before and each time the experience is better and better! Quality of the cruise is top notch compared to RC or Carnival.

First COVID-era cruise for our family. When compared with pre-COVID there were some tradeoffs but we were happy to deal with them to be sailing again. We had a wonderful time and will certainly return for another!

From start to finish we had a wonderful time. We especially appreciated the excellent all around service by the crew. Entertainment was first class and the Star Wars day at sea was well done and very fun. Only issue we had on the cruise was outside DCL's control. We were unable to visit Grand Caymen due to COVID restrictions that prevented the ship from docking at the port. However DCL made up for it with another fantastic day at sea full of on board activities.

This was our 6th Disney cruise and we just love them. The service and cleanliness are always impeccable. The Star Wars Day was amazing. We had so many great character interactions.

Plan ahead and book excursions early they sell out fast. Even with less then 2000 people onboard lots of things sold out. I would NOT use go port ever again, they up-charged us almost 900$ for private car service for 7 people and assured us it was 2 separate cars. Nope and old rattle trap van where we all squeezed into! So our transportation and hotel rooms for one night was almost 3000$ for 6 adults and one child. Avoid that company

Besides COVID restrictions it was a wonderful time. Disney did an excellent job. Can’t wait to do it again.

Was fun to go at this time of year especially with all the Christmas decorations. Had a few hiccups in the beginning but got past those. The Wi-Fi is also not the greatest. Frustrating at times.

I kind of felt that there was not much to do like between 1:00 - 6:00. It was mostly for 18+. We missed most of the holiday crafts and the animation classes because they were held in the mornings and late afternoons, when we were enjoying the pool or the ports. Since it is a Disney ship, I felt that the 18+ and over should have been later like after 9 and all the other activities should have been for families.

I liked the experienced and probably wouldn’t do it again out of fear of having another smoking neighboring occupant. My children suffer from asthma.

We enjoyed getting back to cruising and our personal opinion is that no one does it like Disney. We love the service we get the entertainment and food. We felt safe with the protocols they took with regards to keeping everyone safe and healthy to the best of their ability. All adults were vaccinated, children under 12 needed to have pre-trip covid testing and needed to be negative Everyone will have to take COVID test with negative result prior to boarding. Quick boarding process once in terminal and onboard having lunch our rooms were ready just before 3 PM. Luggage was at our room before 8 PM. We really enjoyed our time it as a very relaxing cruise we chose not to disembark at our ports of call as we wanted to explore the ship and we have visited these ports before on other trips. Food was great except at Cabanas where we thought it was so so. We also didn't care for any of the pasta dishes we had we tend to skip pasta while on the ship. Cabanas did have cold peel and eat shrimp and crab legs that was really good. The shows at the Walt Disney Theater were great we really enjoy seeing them. Midship Detective Agency was a lot of fun. And the areas of the ship for 18 and older were a hit with us. We were able to get free vitamin water during the trip of deck 11midship near the family pool. Wish I wasn't claustrophobic or I would have tried the AquaDuck slide.

I will definitely contact Gemini again and will return for a Disney Cruise.
