We enjoyed getting back to cruising and our personal opinion is that no one does it like Disney. We love the service we get the entertainment and food. We felt safe with the protocols they took with regards to keeping everyone safe and healthy to the best of their ability. All adults were vaccinated, children under 12 needed to have pre-trip covid testing and needed to be negative Everyone will have to take COVID test with negative result prior to boarding. Quick boarding process once in terminal and onboard having lunch our rooms were ready just before 3 PM. Luggage was at our room before 8 PM. We really enjoyed our time it as a very relaxing cruise we chose not to disembark at our ports of call as we wanted to explore the ship and we have visited these ports before on other trips. Food was great except at Cabanas where we thought it was so so. We also didn't care for any of the pasta dishes we had we tend to skip pasta while on the ship. Cabanas did have cold peel and eat shrimp and crab legs that was really good. The shows at the Walt Disney Theater were great we really enjoy seeing them. Midship Detective Agency was a lot of fun. And the areas of the ship for 18 and older were a hit with us. We were able to get free vitamin water during the trip of deck 11midship near the family pool. Wish I wasn't claustrophobic or I would have tried the AquaDuck slide.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation went smooth we arrived at the port from park and ride at our scheduled port arrival time and then proceeded to the embarkation day Covid 19 testing. This was a very easy process you filled out a form in your sectioned off area until the representative invited you into a beind the screen area. The representative explained how the swab process worked and you put the cotton swab into the sterile tube and then swabbed both of your nostrils then snapped the tip off into the sterile container that you will have attached your personal barcode to and had back to the representative. Once completed they send you to the next phase of the process which may be their information team member to address anypotential issues or to the waiting area until your results come in. Results are typically back in 40 min to 1 hr. They have a big screen with your reservation number on it, you will also get an email. Once your cleared you check out of that area with the representative and go to the terminal for embarkation.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We found the food to be very good, except for the pasta dishes. We tried a variety of appetizers and sometimes dinners so that we could try new things. We did not visit the speciality restaurants on this trip. While in Royal Court they did have a show the first night where some of the Disney Princesses come through the dining room, be sure to ask your serving team when this will happen as we missed them as they come through pretty qick and do not make it to every area of the dining room. Animator's Palate has wonderful interactive entertainment, Enghanted garden had a pirate takeover show. We did NOT care for the food at Cabanas we opted to go to the dining room for sit down breakfast and lunch. They are currently not offering dinner. Flo's Cafe include3 food stations Luigi's Pizza, Tow Mater's Grill and Filmore's Favorites. I tried the panini and the chicken tenders and fries all great.

Entertainment

Loved the Disney shows of Aladdin, Frozen and Belive were terriffic. I wasn't impressed with the commedian for adult show. They had lots of trivia of different kinds and our favorite was the show they do with 3 different married couples a newly married, older married couple and one in the middle. The ship was sailing a bit over half capactiy so I think that was the reason for not so many activities as on prior Disney cruises.. There was a great selection of disney movies, pixar, etc. Disney cartoons, ESPN, food network TV. HGTV, ABC a few more

Children's Programs
5 out of 5
We did not have young children with us but we did see lots of character interactions while not up close to them they were socially distanced and they did a great job of interacting with the children. Lots of opportunities throughout the cruise to see characters and lots of photo opportunities. This was a Christmas cruise they had a great Santa, also Mrs Claus Storytime. The family entertainment shows were very interactive and fun. We heard great things about the kids clubs.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our servers Ronald and Kitti were great they treated us as family they were great fun and provided great service during our time on board. Our stateroomhost Maude was also so great and attentive to our needs making our trip very enjoyable. We interacted with guest services a few times and they were always friendly and helpful. There were many others that we would see that were cleaning the restrooms and throughout the cruise also on Deck 11 near the pools and in the restaurants that were all so friendly and helpful
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
All areas of the ship were cleaned and continuously cleaned. They did an amazing job of making us feel safe with plenty of sanitizing stations and bottles of sanitizer in all areas of the ship. They made sure during shows to maintain safe distance by skipping rows and leaving at least 3 seats between members of separate parties in the theaters as well as at bars and restaurants.
Cabin / Stateroom

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Nagivator's Verandah. Very roomy and comfortable, small balcony with 2 chairs and small table there was a bit of an overhang to the right of us that was a partial obstruction but still a very nice room. Bathroom with toilet and sink and 2nd bathroom with sink and tub/shower. Plenty of room to unpack and under bed storage for suitcases to slide out of sight. Desk with chair and small refridgerator.
Ship tip
If you are not able to download the Navigator app you can obtain paper menus as well as paper activities list by asking at guest services. We were able to get free vitamin water and coke on deck 11 midship. If you plan on using underwater disposable cameras on Castaway Cay be sure to write your name, cabin number and date of sailing. In case you lose a camera if they find it they will be able to contact you. Lost mine did not get back this was many years ago.
We chose to eat in the dining room,I would recommend going to Cabanas for breakfast as dinner in the dining room same menu. PS last day they don't offere ggs benedict in dining roombig disappointment. After breakfast we just took our luggage and left the ship. No need to stop and collect luggage. We stopped at Customs which was quick and we went out and found our transporation to the off site park and ride. This was the easiest and fastest disembarkation ever.
