Review summary
Had a great time. The service in the dining room was excellent. Our head waiter Alexa couldn't do enough for us.That was a big job because we had 16 family members, including 5 children who were at the dinner table every night. Also my wife and myself have shellfish/iodine allergies. Alexa went over the menu with us the night before and we felt confident that she made sure there was no mistakes on our food preparation. Our Stewart (Ike)kept our stateroom spotless. The cleanliness of the ship as a whole was quite impressive. Our grandchildren had a wonderful and memorable cruise. The only problem on the cruise, that we encountered was the morning when we were leaving the ship. There was complete chaos, no direction , (because no staff members present) with people cutting the line. It took us almost 2 hours to get off the boat and thru customs. Due do that extended amount of time to debark we almost missed our van ride to the airport. Hopefully, this problem will be investigated and rectified in the future. The Fantasy itself was quite impressive, due to its sheer size and great ride. Very seldom did we feel like we were on a ship. All the staff members that we encountered were polite and courteous.
