It was a lovely pop of Disney magic. I wish it was longer but hope they sail out of nyc again soon
Embarkation

It was very organized! I liked that we had coralles like they have at races to keep us organized and not just mobs of people roaming about. The port staff were all amazing, and friendly - felt the Disney magic as soon as we got to the Terminal.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
YES! The Food and drink options were good. Never needed to ask for anything from the drink station attendants - they were always clean and well stocked. I did not get to the buffet too many times this sailing but from what I did see and eat, it was good! The Congee was respectable! Shrimp and crab cocktails were lovely and all the other fixings were great!
Onboard Activities

I spent a lot of time at the spa! We had the cruise long spa pass to the rain forest and it was well worth the price of admission! We went early in the day and it was nice to not have it super crowded, but wow- it got packed out - FAST. Loved seeing a movie on the ship! Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 - so cry cry but so fun at the same time.
Entertainment

Golden Mickeys, Beauty and the beast, and Believe were all great stage shows. Seen them a bunch of times, but they are always well done! There was an electric viola or violin player in the lobby who was awesome!

Service and Staff

Diomorry / Assistant server and Shums / Server were first to take care of us at lunch in Animators Palate - Excellent service!
Shelby / uk - She greeted and sat us at Animators. and said hi to us anytime she saw us - very thoughtful!!
Brian / Server (Zimbabwe) and Leonardo / Assistant Server (Portugal) were assigned as our serving team - WOW!!! Very nice guys and very attentive!!!
Jonata-brazil - we met him at Cabanas and he was really nice and attentive, saw him again for lunch service and were sat in his section! Super lucky!
Alan, Kayla Doug and Wallace were the Disney Vacation Club dream team!!!! Everyone was easy to chat with and very relaxed - its very refreshing for me being from New York and generally wound tight - the presentations were fun and I loved picking up my daily DVC member goodie from the desk.
Chaeyi / Assistant spa manager (Cha Cha) was very sweet and awesome! I had a glitch with my reservation that was booked on the app months ago. I guess there was a system switch and my booking got scrambled. They were able to get me rescheduled same day and offered me a discount which I very much appreciated! She greeted me by name every time I saw her!!
Luigui, Dane, Luis, Fernando, Anelina and Megan - diamonds and wishes, this team is phenomenal! I never felt pressured to buy even though I really wanted to..... I couldn't justify dropping thousands of dollars on more jewelry, but DANG - the Crown of light X Disney!!!!!!!!
Cindy/honduras and Namrita/ India - fillmores. Both very nice and lovely servers at the quick serve area!
Reuben - Stateroom host - AWESOME! Kept my stateroom tidy and left fun towel animals, always available!

The Disney Dream is a gorgeous ship! I love the layout. It was a bit chilly on this north bound cruise but I still enjoyed the movies on the Funnel Vision!
Cabin / Stateroom

The comfort was 100! Size was good for two of us, super clean! I was a little bummed out that my navigator veranda view had a slanted steel wall on the right. I know I picked the room, but I was hoping it was going to be an even view. I was happy that while being forward, it was not too choppy with movement from the water.
Ship tip
Enjoy all the beautiful details of the ship. Pizza is open until midnight. Aft or Forward elevators were less crowded.
It was a little bit of chaos - we had a few "biohazard" incidents on line that stopped the process for clean up, but it was swiftly handled. Port side customs was easy. We walked to 11th ave and up one block to call our lyft to avoid the terminal chaos.
