Review summary

overall the trip was very nice. We enjoyed the food and the shows and other entertainment. We missed having a live band on the pool deck during the day like on other cruises, but they had a big screen in the main pool area for entertainment. We mostly stayed in the adult pool area where they had nice quiet music. We enjoyed playing mini golf and the Aquaduck water ride. During the day they had soft serve ice cream which everyone enjoyed.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
buffet and main dining were very good. we did not do any of the specialty restaurants

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There were plenty of things to do to keep busy if you wanted. We went in the adult pool and hot tub and rode the Aquaduck several times. In the evening we listened to the music in the lobby and watched the families have photos taken with characters.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There were shows every night. We saw them all and they were very good. The pirate night they had a show on deck then fireworks. The musicians were great.

Children's Programs

We did not bring any children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The waiters were very good despite all the people they had to serve. Our room was serviced 2x per day. Always clean and plenty of clean towels and products.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship seemed to be easy to get around and find all the theaters and restaurants. Everything was clean despite the number of people (esp. children)

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was comfortable and a good size for a cruise ship. It was nice to have two separate bathrooms. One for tub and shower and sink and another for toilet and sink. It was always clean.

Ship tip

Don't stay on the 10th deck. You hear all the noise from the pool deck.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

4 out of 5
We did not do an excursion in Miami.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

5 out of 5
We did the snorkeling trip to Treasure Is. The people on Rebel Yell were very nice and good instructions on snorkeling. We saw lots of fish, squid and sea turtles.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
We took a snorkeling trip to St. John's honeymoon bch. It was a relaxing trip on the catamaran, but we were disappointed they didn't sail, only motored. They were many fish and were saw 4 sea turtles. They had cheese, crackers, meat and booze on the way back. It was a nice trip. We wanted to do Trunk Bay, but it was sold out.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

5 out of 5
We did not do any excursions. We spent the day snorkeling, water slides and relaxing. They had a BBQ for lunch with plenty of choices. It was a nice day other than trying to get off the ship. Everyone tried to get off when we got there, so there were long lines. I would think there might be a better way.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
It should have gone smoother, but for some reason it got backed up. We got in line when they called our character, but the line had stopped and we waited a half hour without moving.
