Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining areas are a bit disorganized unless you have a reservation. My app never opened on my phone so we did not use it and when i tried in the room i got all the way to click "reserve" and it said "sorry, can't do this right now". So we just never used it and ate in the buffet most nights

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
pool was over run by children. Adult pool was in the shade, Sanctuary was booked on the first day for the whole cruise except on port days. We did not participate in alot of the activities. The fitness center was way to crowded and uncomfortable. The fitness classes were 23 dollars for 30 minutes!!! Ridiculous. So we didn't even work out but 2 days. We got massages and paid 400 dollars for 2 people. My massage was very mediocre and I was disappointed. My BF though said his was excellent. I felt like she was just rubbing oil on me. There was not alot of actual massage.

Entertainment

We did enjoy the shows. Had to get there an hour early to get a decent seat but the shows were good. Our favorite was the Buble show with Ken Something.

Service and Staff

Everyone was really nice and accommodating.

Ship Quality

Cleanliness was impeccable.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was great. Decent size, comfortable with a balcony.

Ship tip

Book all of your reservations the first day because they fill up and get to the shows and hour early for proper seating.

Ports of call

We live in OC, boarded here.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

We went to the marina, took a water taxi to the "office" and had chips and beer. Got a massage from local vendors as well as my hair braided. They no longer allow these vendors into the eating areas and that was disappointing. Other than that, it was Cabo - we go here alot.

Mazatlan, Mexico

Didn't even get off the ship - it smelled dirty and from the ship looked like we didn't need to go anywhere. LOL

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Also dirty - we paid for a resort day prior to arrival. It was 80 buck per person to be able to use the resort and eat there. Upon arrival we learned that the resort was an hours drive away due to traffic and 60 bucks each way by taxi. So we canceled it and just walked to the beach. it was going to be about 200 per person to do a resort day there and then we couldn't even use the beach chairs. So we opted to go back to the ship. We got a 30 min massage from one of the vendors directly outside of the ship that was fantastic. One of the highlights of the cruise. LOL

Disembarkation

Totally easy, went to our assigned station at assigned time and walked off the ship. No big lines, no problems.
