Review summary

This was my first cruise in four years. Overall, I loved the ship and loved using the app to order a beverage whenever or wherever onboard I was. It felt a bit crowded at times. But, overall, it was a beautiful ship and I'd be more than happy to sail again on Discovery Princess.

Love the Retreat area. I never used the main pool area. The casino had lots of fun slot machines, but it is cramped in a couple areas.

I did a whale watching trip on a Zodiac boat. Very fun! Our group saw several whales and our tour guide was knowledgeable.

The newer area of Mazatlan was quite nice. I did a city highlights tour and it was okay.

Beautiful place. I didn't do a tour here, but instead walked around and shopped a little. A few vendors were a bit too pushy so I left earlier than I wanted.

Sailed on Discovery in December. Just wanted to add a comment on how comfy the bed and linens were. For our 52nd anniversary it was a great cruise since the pandemic prevented us from cruising on our 50th. Thanks for your helpful comments!

I did the caribean cruise sailing to Puerto Plata, ( One hour before or so said we would go to Nassau) flelt dissapointed because was one port never been there and the excuse they did nobody believed, that was no space for our boat, if it is a fix schedule every week , have not reserved in advance? And another disspointed thing was no stopping in the other destination the Norweigan own island because bad weather... other than that one terrible meal, the Tepanyaki meal,tha Steak House excellet and the others one was ok. The enployees very nice and servicial. Good experience with the free style, first time in obe of those.
