Review summary

Highly recommend this ship and loved the three days at sea!

Embarkation

Security at SanPedro was a bit rushed and confusing. Just had to show either QR code or passport. Whole process took 45 mins and we were onboard!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I’m GF so my options were more limited. But they were EXCELLENT about accommodating me. My friend who wasn’t GF was thrilled at the food choices and quality.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
My only regret is that we couldn’t do it all!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
All musicals and singing shows in Princess Theater until last evening when there was a magician. Would’ve enjoyed a greater variety of entertainment. But we did enjoy the Deal or no Deal show and the smaller venues in Princess Live.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was working so hard to please people! They did a great job!

Ship Quality

So clean and new!

Ship tip

Mid ship/mid ship was a great location for a room. We were close to the mid elevator and could easily walk up or down if needed.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

Stayed at Inn at 50 the night before. Very clean and family owned. Close to beach, grocery store and restaurants. $18 Uber ride to ship.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

A snorkeling tour to the village of Yalepa was fabulous! Highly recommend taking the short hike up to the waterfall.

Mazatlan, Mexico

Beautiful Malecon. Go see the cliff divers!

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Tenders off the ship took a while. Port was easy to shop and people watch in.

Disembarkation

Usually we just walk off with our carry-ons but this is the first time I used a transfer. Had to wait a bit until one became available so the process was a little longer than just getting a taxi or Uber. But it went very smoothly once we were on board the bus. Walking off through security was a breeze. Didn’t need to pull out your passport, they use facial recognition photos in San Pedro.
