Great cruise. Colder than I thought it would be (bring a jacket/sweatshirt) Theater shows were very good. Rock Opera was amazing! Had a lot of fun listen to and dancing with the group Meridian. Took the stairs a lot but was impressed with how many and how fast the elevators were. If you want to go to the early show you’ll need dinner reservations for 6 pm or earlier.
Embarkation

Our boarding time was 10 am and the road to get in was crazy busy. Luggage drop off was easy. Once inside we had a little wait, but that seems to be normal on any cruise we’ve been on. It seemed like once the workers we ready (think they had to wait til everyone onboard was off) it moved pretty quickly.

Food and Dining

We ate at the main dining room all but one night. Food was very good and waiters were great. The flourless chocolate cake on the first night was amazing along with the chocolate dessert on the second night. I loved the cold fruit soups. Surf and turf was really good. The buffets were fine Breakfast was really crowded. Found the best place to sit was outside at the back of the ship. Didn’t try the specialty restaurant. Their ice cream cones were soooo good, very creamy!!

Everything very clean. Wish there was a walking area outside on lower level. Also wish they had shuffleboard.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had a balcony room R727. Loved the balcony and being able to go outside from our room. We did have a struggle opening the sliding door. We found that lever up is open and had to pull on the whole handle to get it open. The room was nice. Beds and pillows comfortable. One weird thing, to have a light on in the closet area the main bright light in the room also went on. The was anoying, since someone could be sleeping. Room was very clean. Shower had curtain which made it seem a little bigger. The shower head can be turned, adjusted higher and lower and also removed.
Ship tip
Take advantage of the Ap and Medallion to order food and drinks. Nice area to sit on deck 7 aft. (One side is a smoking area.)
We did our own thing. Took water taxi ($2 per person) across to Stone Island. After getting off taxi walk across the street and onto beach. Then just found some chairs with an umbrella. There are lots and lots of places. They just want you to buy food or drinks from them. Very reasonable. Took water taxis back (keep ticket). Then had a taxi (golf cart) take us on a little tour of the city.
The tender part to shore took forever! Definitely need to improve that. Coming back the line was long but went really fast. Went to see friends. Could see the arch from ship when pulling into Cabo.
