All staff were wonderful, and we really enjoyed the entertainment. Our only issue was our port excursions. All of the excursions we chose, and paid good money for, were listed as needing moderate walking abilities. Many times we had people with mobility scooters and walking frames which held up departure made boarding and disembarking buses difficult and slow. As lovely as the tour guides were it was frustrating continuously waiting for people that were not able to walk up stairs or traverse simple inclines.

As most of the people on the cruise where a lot older than us, we still enjoyed as we meet some fabulous people.

This is my second Princess cruise, I would have to have a serious think about booking another. Unfortunately it was the destination rather than the cruise line that made me book this cruise.

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the cruise especially the many sea days.

12 night New Zealand cruise. Leaving Sydney on March 10th 2018, & returning on March 22nd 2018.

After 4 previous cruises on the Diamond we’ve decided to do our 5th cruise again on her with friends in March 2018. She’s a beautiful old girl, immaculate inside and without any visible signs of rust on the outside. Staff have always been incredibly helpful and friendly and we’ve never had any problems with the choice of food and venues on the ship. Fellow passengers have always been friendly, polite and well behaved. Princess is our preferred cruise line. Looking forward to this cruise in a few weeks time.

It was a great cruise we had great friends with us on this cruise and many would laugh but we live in Tasmania but we love our state that much we had to fly to Sydney to cruise to tassie the staff were great food was fantastic all in all could not fault this cruise.but in saying this a cruise is what you make it .

One of the worst. Food was horrible. Missed ports.

Had a great cruise and a wonderful time in Sydney, disappointed that we missed Akaroa as we had reserved an excursion for the alpine train ride, and Melbourne.

Took the Diamond on an Alaska Land Sea tour. Classy ship, wonderful staff. Love afternoon tea! Cream puffs in the shape of swans. The food is also very good both in Main dining areas and especially Sabatini’s specialty restaurant.

This is the best ship i have been on the staff are so friendly and so helpful the food was very good so much to chose from the ship was very clean and well looked after just loved it all AAAAA+😍

Heading out on the Coral Princess next week for Panama and was on the Royal last month to West Caribbean but wanted to post a Diamond review from past experience. I’ve sailed it 3x, 2004 inaugural year in Alaska, oct 2016 Singapore to Beijing and Feb 2018 Sydney to Auckland. It’s my favorite Princess ship. Love the layout and as an Elite member the nightly happy hour is held at Skywalkers nightclub that allows 180 degree views across the back of the ship. I believe only 2 Princess ships have Skywalkers now, Diamond and Star (sailed it in S. America in 2011) I’ve heard they think the placement on top of the ship causes drag thus more fuel. Explorers lounge is well placed near mid ship and easy to stop and watch entertainment from the hallway as you pass. Both specialty restaurants are fantastic, actually they have a 3rd Sushi one but I didn’t dine there. The gym is large, plenty of equipment and space to stretch. Only bummed that it’s primarily set in Asia now and hard to get over there from FL.

Sailed from Sydney on January 25th 2018, had an inside accessible cabin. Found the Diamond Princess to be wonderfully accessible for wheelchair access to most areas, particularly loved the self opening doors to the decks. For the first time on any cruise we found our cabin steward wasn’t very good, his understanding of English wasn’t good at all. It took till nearly the end of the trip for him to replace a badly torn doona cover despite the fact that we’d asked twice. He was less than helpful for the whole trip because of his lack of English. Food was great, venues great and the evening shows were fabulous. Can’t wait for my next Princess cruise.

Sailed on the Diamond for 12days out of Sydney, Jan 25 2018. Had a wonderful cruise to New Zealand. The meals in the Horizon Court were very good, as always.😊 We did have a specialty dinner in the Sterling Steakhouse..the food was amazing. Their tour disembarkation process is excellent (travelled with NCL after Princess and their process is chaos) We weren't happy with our cabin steward (not cleaning as expected), however he changed positions after 2 days, and our new steward, Armando met expectations. We were very pleased to see hand washing stations in the Horizon Court, which were enforced by staff followed by the Purell stations before they provide the silverware. Love the coffee card, wish other cruise lines offered this. We don't drink enough to purchase a beverage package. Had a great time and can't wait for our next cruise on the Star Princess, March 2019.

The singers and dancers in the Princess Theatre on the Diamond Princess were first class! Very high standard from all performers! Food and service in Club class dining was well worth the extra cost.

Diamond Princess was a great ship to spend New Year’s Eve on. Crew made the cruise very enjoyable. Meals are amazing. Great to visit some of the ports that we have been to before and see more of NZ Tender rides are the best fun

Simply wonderful cruise with incredible staff across the board. We stayed in the very deluxe family suite and there was ample room for the five of us. There was simply too much on offer for us to see and do everything. However what we did get to was brilliant. Marcus was a great cruise director. The Lotus Spa had so many different ways to pamper yourself and I only got to do one thing every Sea day. I really loved this cruise and hope to be able to do it again one day.
