Review summary

Very enjoyable cruise with the exception of the first and last day. Would I sail Princess again probably but definitely not our of San Diego. If you like relaxing days at sea this is the cruise for you.

Embarkation

Even with a scheduled time it took 1 hour to drop off baggage and another 1 1/2 hours in line to get on ship

The service in the international dinning room was suspect but food and service in the safari dinning room was excellent

Onboard Activities

They had a number of onboard activities which were designed to keep guest entertained unfortunately wife hurt her ankle the first day onboard and we were unable to partake in most activities.

Entertainment

with the exception of duration, most were only 1/2 hours shows the entrainment was good the two production shows were good not great having experienced better shows on NCL and MSC.

Service and Staff

Very attentive crew members room Stewart was excellent as was most of the wait staff.

Ship Quality

Spit is older built in 2004 and it shows in some ways but the crew kept it clean and sanitized.

Cabin / Stateroom

Shower was small, what ship is it not, but overall it was comfortable. My with did not like the 2004 hair dryer otherwise we were comfortable.

Not for young children but otherwise get ready to have a relaxing comfortable cruise

While had to be out of room at 8:00 we had a meeting time at 9:00 but not allowed to leave ship until 11:00 meeting area was extremely full without enough space to have all guests sit leaving many to stand until their departure call.

Loyal to Princess

Great Hawaiian cruise

I know Princess will do nothing to compensate but here goes. WORST CRUISE EVERY, 3 hours to board, 3 hours to disembark, hot one hot meal, service at dining room, buffet and lounge areas non-exist.
