First time on Crystal but hopefully wont be our last. Was very impressed with the service we received and the quality of the food.

Overall, there are newer products on the market for less. They may not do a world cruise itinerary, however, it's better to piece together a few segments on a nice new ship, then do a world cruise on old rusty landrover. Go big or go home, and buy the insurance in case of emergencies. You never know when you might get sick from the food or fall or injure yourself.

If you had a choice to travel on this cruise line, I would not even think about it. Go with a line that values the guest and the guest experience. One that does not take advantage of you because of your age, young and old got hammered with their pricing scheme. If your old, you don't know any better and just pay too much. If your young, they practically charge you for two, make veiled promises, then when you ask about the promises that their sales agents promise by phone but not in writing (although texts) then you find out you were scammed once onboard.

Over 1k/day, have most of my time fixing broken items in my room, (phones, doors, electrical outlets, vip event invites gone ary, etc.) prior (limo was not scheduled right, requirement of docs was not availed correctly). Staff are very nice, go above and beyond. The process of getting to the ship and pre cruise staff could not seemingly be more complicated and dysfunctional. As a Forbes 5 star expert, there is no way any travel website can rate this a 6 Star, less a 2 star at this time. Ships are old although elegant. Let's see how the first week goes before we decide to jump on a new celebrity edge ship. 😊
