Review summary

My party and I loved this cruise. I might suggest Crystal take a good look at its tour operators, but the cruise itself was wonderful. I can't say enough good things about the support Crystal gave from beginning to end.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was a bit cramped. The TV programming could have been a bit updated (movies, ship information), but on the whole the service and cleanliness were great.

Ports of call

No excursion, just hired a cab for a few hours.

Haifa, Israel

This port was supposed to be one of the highlights of the trip. The excursion was okey, felt rushed even though the trip was long.

Ashdod, Israel

Again, this was supposed to be a highlight country of the trip. My party was very uncomfortable with the tour leader. I felt him to be very discriminatory to certain groups of people he spoke of that lived in the city. He was not very reverential to areas of holy shrines. He lost control of his group and caused some irritation and confusion to members of the group. We started late and he seemed very irritated by that. All in all, I did not appreciate this tour as I wanted to and felt extremely disappointed because of the fact that this was one of my personal reasons for going on this tour.

Paphos, Cyprus Did not visit port

Was not interested in seeing this island.

Santorini, Greece

Loved this port. We did exploring on our own.

My husband felt somewhat anxious as we had just enough time at the airport. It took an hour and a half to get to the airport and the crowds in line were very large. We should have left earlier for the airport.
