Review summary

This is a fun ship with great ports. The crew is wonderful. Again, I urge you to stay away from Cruising Excursions as they are expensive, inflexible and the tours are terrible. You will do better with Viator.

Great tour. Great combo of the Giant’s Causeway and the city. Use Viator!

Greenock (Glasgow), Scotland

We signed with Cruising Excursions. Biggest mistake! I hurt my hip and even with medical documentation they wouldn’t let us cancel. All the other companies let you cancel up to 24 hours. Cruising Excursions is a waste!

Invergordon (Inverness & Loch Ness), Scotland

Again we used Cruising Excursions. The guide didn’t know the itinerary. We had to show her. She was thrown off and we rushed through the stops. For a lot of money, we saw very little. I did complain and of course Cruising Excursions brushed me off.

South Queensferry (Edinburgh), Scotland

Again Cruising Excursions ruined the port. They threw 2 groups together making the tour huge. We left half an hour late and did not get an extension on the time. We had a bathroom break, but the guide didn’t know where the bathroom was so everyone had to find it themselves. He didn’t bring anything to hold up and so people were wandering around looking for him. He knew his info, but could not lead a group.

Le Havre (Paris), France

We used the ship excursion to Normandy which was amazing. Well planned and very moving.

Disembarkation
