Review summary

Mexico is slowly becoming more and more dangerous. We're probably going to take a break from Mexico after 2019 and not go back for a while. The cruise was excellent. As long as you stick to excursions from Princess, you'll be fine. Usually. On one from Princess, we were in Mazatlan and watched our guide get extorted. It was a harrowing experience to say the least.

Just explored the Port during embarkation and disembarkation. There's nothing to do here elsewise.

Mazatlan, Mexico

Did a city tour excursion from Princess - The tour guide was extorted money from lady while we were on the tour. Super sketchy and scary.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Did a tour to Hotel California so didn't explore the port. Have been back to the port at later times and highly recommend snorkeling near Pelican Rock. Bring your own gear, take $10 and get a water taxi. Tell them how long you want to snorkel and when to pick you up. Bring another $10 for the return trip.
