Review summary

This was our first Princess cruise but it might be our last - we have had better experience on other cruise lines.

It only took about 20 minutes from the time we got to the terminal until we were on-board the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

We had "Any Time" dining and ate in the dining room usually. The food for dinner was okay but nothing special. They a sub-menu you could order from but it was all at an additional charge. We ate at the buffet for breakfast & lunch. Again nothing special - they seem to have basically the same food every day.

Onboard Activities

We did use the fitness center and their machines were in good condition. Plus since it was Christmas time, they had many extra activities on-board which was nice.

Entertainment

Their resident singers & dancers did the majority of the shows and they were just okay.

Service and Staff

They were all pleasant and helpful but we have had better on other cruise lines.

Ship Quality

This was the first ship we've ever been on where they didn't have a "crows nest" lounge/bar in the front of the ship that everyone could use. The ship and it's areas were all clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was great p clean & we liked the size. However the balcony did not have a any kind of cover over it which didn't made it awkward to use - people on the decks above us look right down on us and see us.
