Review summary

The ports on this trip were amazing. The entertainment on the ship was wonderful. The service was mediocre overall. The food was ok in the dining rooms. We ate in the Crown Grille one night and the food was fantastic!!

The ship's layout and design was actually quite nice. The locations and separations of the different pools was really great and food was placed near pools, so you could always have a snack!

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was noisy and very hot. There was something loose in the ceiling and it tapped loudly during the night. In addition, this room is directly across from the engine room and the heat from the engine room keeps the room and the hallway in front of the room quite warm. We had the air conditioning on full blast the entire cruise and the room was never cool enough to sleep. We spoke to the maintenance team and they said there was nothing that could be done, as this room is always hot due to the engine room. It was a sleepless vacation (and not by choice). Lastly, this room was adjacent to the life boats (right between number 19 and number 21) and they used number 21 as a tender at one of the ports. That means that at 6am we were startled awake to metallic grinding sounds. I wish they had warned us about this. Our cabin steward was very sweet and tried to help wherever she could. I would not go on this ship (and certainly wouldn't stay in this room) again. If you like to sleep in hot temperatures, this is the room for you.
