An adventure that fulfilled a lifetime of dreams that my wife and I are blessed that we were able have.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The Crown was just coming out of dry dock and Princess had given all passengers an update that boarding would be delayed. It was a bit more than frustrating listening to all the habitual complainers, about how bad the delays were, Princess did a great job under the circumstance over which they had no control
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food for the most part was good, but it was not as good as on past cruises, it seems like they were doing some quality cutbacks.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Their were plenty of activities, but too many overlapped and the Cruise Directors staff gave the appearance they were putting themselves out to condut the activities. . The Staff was over 80% from England and were more interested in bing with each other than the passengers.

Service and Staff

Our Cabin Stewart, the Waiters and staff were all superior, which is the reason Princess is our Favorite Cruise line. I had to use the Medical Facilities, and was overwhelemed with how good Dr Gary Brown is at handleing every type of medical problem.
Ship Quality

The crown just had come out of dry dock , and it was amazing how new carpet in the public areas kept appearing overnight, The major problem with the cabins are their is only 1 electic outlet, and with todays elctronic world this is a major problem
I had no idea that this port would be so fastinating, We used Carlos with Tours by Locals and visited the Cable Cars, Basket Sled, waterfalls, volcanic pools and more
We didthis port on our own, the city was having a marathoon and we followed the coursed Which took us through the most interesting parts of the city, we visited 2 churches that were preparing for a wedding, the Roman Theatre and walls plus a much more , The mos interesting part of this visit was we were in Cartagena Columbia just 1 year ago.
We did a bus tour that took us to a small mountaain town and visited a monestary. The countryside was beautiful with a combinnation of Olive and Almound groves.
One of our most favorite cities did alot of shopping, and the hop on hop off bus for 2 days, One thing you must do if visiting Barcelona is go to the top of the Columbus Statue, the views are fantastic.
