Review summary

The intinery was good, great entertainment! The food was a disappointment in the dining rooms and the buffet. Staff was not as friendly or accommodating as previous cruises we've taken with Princess. Very slow service in all food areas ( dining and buffet). Steak house was terrific. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed.

We had a great time with family and friends but was a little disappointed with the cruise itself, definitely not as nice as previous ones.

The bed was comfortable, our cabin was always clean, our cabin steward was very friendly.

Ditto ditto, LOVE Princess Cruises, heading out on our 10th in Nov. have had a few hiccups on a couple but as you say people skills can resolve most any problem. Each staff I meet I address them by name an find that it creates a friendship that lasts the whole cruise an in some cases beyond

I would have thought agree with the feedback from others. We have always been loyal to Princess because of the first class service and the beauty of each ship. Sad that your experience didn't meet expectations.

We have cruised on 4 Princess ships each different but can't complain about anything bad,as a retired chef if the food was that bad I would let them know but some people just moan for the sake of it. If you take into consideration theses guy's may have been on board for 6 months + how would you feel,working 12 hour shifts, we have come across a couple of crew that were a bit off'ish but nothing we can't cope with, after a chat soon got them on board it's called people skills. ð

Or rather your preferences may align more with one experience more than another. One person may like the waiter to talk a lot, another may prefer faster service. One person may enjoy exotic foods and the other basic foods. Yes we are disappointed when our expectations aren't met but you can usually see from other reviews from Sam cruise that they enjoyed it. So not my cup of tea doesn't necessarily mean it was bad.

Have to remember each Princess ship is different as far as staff and even food. One ship might be great and another not so.
