Review summary

Nothing on this Cruise was good. First time going on Princess and Last time!! Five hours or more late leaving the Port? Unreal. We waited in line for 4 hours to get on board and MANY MANY people were cutting in line ahead of us. I have been all over the World on Cruises and not one was like this. In Italy I walked straight on with nary await. All our Scheduled Shore Excursions that we reserved ahead of time were cancelled and all port days and times redone at shorter stays. We had to rebook and we were told we might not get them back,they told us to wake up early and run down to reserve them AGAIN!! And we had to wait all day on pins and needles,causing us a lot of stress. The buffet place had no seats sometimes and we had to go outside where it was cold. We were not compensated for anything also,unreal!!

I would normally say, "sorry for your troubles" but even through your righteousness indignation there is great disdain for Princess. Very confusing for me personally. We have over 300 days wth Princess, including on the Crown - which we will be to be aboard for the second time in Sept/Oct. In direct opposition to your comments, we have always found that if it wasn't right, Princess made it right

All of our cruises have been on Princess. We loved every one. Staff and services were awesome. Headed to Alaska on the 18th out of Seattle. REALLY looking forward to it.

Omg dreading going on The 4th now if any of the staff is rude to me they will be sorry, they can kiss goodbye to their tips. Will be packing plenty of soap lol

We were on the Crown Princess out Seattle on May 21. Embarkation, meals, excursions, and debarkation were all flawless. Great cruise!

Just curious if you were on the Alaskan cruise out of Seattle. The port authorities are in charge of the ship. Weather might have been a factor in delay of ports. We have booked an excursion twice in Juneau and both times it was canceled due to weather. Blame mother nature, not the cruise line. As far as seating goes, if you look at any cruise ship, no matter what line it is, there are always a shortage of seats, be it in the buffet room, or the theater. Solution don't go at peak times. You were on for 7 days, you may have figured out those peak times. Shows- 2nd showing. How can you not say one nice thing, at least about Alaska, glaciers, wildlife, unspoiled nature. Easy solution about sales and upsale- Just say no thanks. Nothing is ever perfect, and you need to realize this if you are going to live in the real world. You make your happiness. Will not have to worry about meeting you -ever
