Review summary

It was a nice itinerary for the holiday break. We were the second cruise after a large Norovirus outbreaks and special procedures were in place (thumbs up). We had a delayed boarding and the restuarant schedules were not adjusted which caused some level of confusion and very long lines at the buffet. Things calmed down after the first day. We did have a handful of possible Norovirus cases on the ship but the captian and crew kept people informed and on alert. We did have 2 reported fires during the cruise a first for me a seasoned cruiser. I think the ship is ready for a refurbishment. The people were great and if you're a go with the flow kind of person you'd enjoy the cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The quality of the speciality restuarants was amazing. Our regular dining was good . Interesting we went to Mexico and no Mexican food was served.

Onboard Activities

Movies under the stars...play more things. Lots of nature, but more movies, tv show, sports. For the concerts the volume was super loud for everything else soft. Adjust the volume to a more consistent and not disturbing level.

Entertainment

Lots of choices, but the theater was packed and we could not get a seat. Would love to see more open (non-competitive) karaoke.

I love to walk. I loved the blue line and volunteers along the blue line to share information, provide directions and in general to help out guests to the beautiful city.
