Review summary

This was my first cruising experience and it was excellent. The ship was well appointed, the staff was amazing and there was an endless list of things to do!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The menus were varied and extensive. The food was very good, the portions were appropriate and the service was exemplary.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There was something for everyone! I didn't take part in any of the courses or activities, but the entertainment was first class!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff - from the room steward (Sonny) to the pool servers - were outstanding. Our head server, Mahaila, and her assistant, Johannes were welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Can't say enough good things about the staff!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The only limitation I found was that there were not enough toilets in the public washrooms.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
I found it amazing that even when the winds were blowing and the ship was rocking there was not a squeak or a creak in our room! We were in a mini-suite and one of us needed a wheelchair so that made things a bit cramped, but otherwise, it was fine.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

3 out of 5
We did not take part in any of the tours, and the streets of Grand Cayman are not "wheelchair friendly". We did not spend much time ashore here. If you are not an avid shopper there was not much to recommend it.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
The margaritas were great and the shopping was easy and accessible.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
We took the chair lift to the beach and it was fantastic. The beach was clean and the water was warm! The only negative aspect was that the beach is not that accessible and if you didn't get there early you had to go some distance to find a chair in the shade.

Pros: The staff was amazing.

Cons: The deck chairs were a bit uncomfortable.
