Pleasant, well maintained, took it second year in a row (same cruise).

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate only at the Horizon, self serving buffet. The food was varied of exceptionaly quality, superb cakes and commendable sugar free cakes (poor on other cruises). Always plenty of table space and no crowding at the buffet.Ate only once at the Michaelangelo restaurant, traumatic experience. Very noisy, couldnt hear table partners speaking, meal lasted exactly 2 hours, too long to my taste.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The musical production of excellent quality, the ladies singers superb, however some of he "comedians" were not funny and could do without.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Exceptional service in the Horizon buffet, excellent room stewart service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Exceptionally clean, pleasant public areas

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very clean, simple, not too large cabin but definite comfortable

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
This was our 7th time in Barcelona. Wonderful city.Cruise excursions ridiculously pricey and not providing a good return. My tip:take a taxi ti the center.La Plaza del Catalunya, 12 euros one way, less than 10 minutes drive.Get on the Barcelona City Tour bus, Blue line in front of the department store El Court Englaise, Red line across the plaza, buy a 22 Euro ticket and have a 2 hour drive on each of the two lines. If you have two days buy a 29Euro ticket and go next day hop on/off, and you have seen everything in this fantastic city.

Genoa, Italy

We did on our own, the cruise excursions are ridiculously expensive

Greenock (Glasgow), Scotland

5 out of 5
Adorable small town, walk around by yourself, good for shopping

Zeebrugge (Bruges), Belgium

3 out of 5
Lovely little town.Get there by shuttle 12 euros round trip, buy chocolate, superb.Only 18 euros for 2.2 lbs, for hand made, diversified heavenly pralines. Not much otherwise. If you want you can take the train ,12 miles to Bruge, medieval town, a lot of walking.

Gibraltar (U.K.)

5 out of 5
Interesting, easy to do it on your own, close to the city center, take a public taxi and for a modest sum see all the atractions.Interesting.

Dublin, Ireland

3 out of 5
Nice center, need a shuttle to get there, $10 pp round trip.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Many noisy unbehaved chidren which no staff nor parents did anything about it
