Review summary

This is the third Princess we have sailed on. This ship is the greatest. From the boarding to the debarking the crew was very helpful to our entire needs. One has to mention the cleaniness of the ship. No matter where you are, from our cabin to the public rooms, this ship is spotless and impeccable. The professinal mannerisms of the cruise director and his staff to our cabin steward. This ship and it's crew are there to serve you. Dinning is an experience aboard the Crown Princess. We chose personal dining which allowed us to dine anytime we wanted, in two well appointed dining rooms. We also had the opportunity to share a table with others and during the course of our 7 day cruise we met approximately 30 other people while dining. We also experienced the Crown Steak House which is not to missed when cruising the Crown Princess. The extra special service and attention given to us during that very romantic dinner. One only has to take a virtual peek at this ship to understand its majesty. From the public rooms that feature the best entertainment to the dining rooms and the Piazza which has the very best coffee aboard and an assortment of international delicasies to die for. I could go on and on but the best way to experience The Crown, is arrange a booking ASAP.

Ports of call

Castries, St. Lucia

We started out ,taking a short walk in Castries and probably would have taken a tour as we usually do as we heard this island has some beautiful sites. We walked down the main street and were being harassed by people which seemed to be very poor and begging. We did not feel very comforatbel and went back to the ship. Once again I would reccomend you to arrange an activity from the ships tour office.

Bridgetown, Barbados

As we have been on a few cruises, we usuall walk out to the dock and search for a local taxi and take a tour of the island with a group of people. After such an experience in Barbados, I believe it is best to book a tour with the ship. As for restaurants, we are avid believers that the best restaurant is aboard the Crown Princess. We usually work our tours around dining hours which is not a problem on the Crown, Just think of the Horizon "the 24 hour buffet."

This is the island we wait for to do our shopping. The best prices for liquors and perfumes. Jewlery is very reasonable here as well. Yopu have to be adventurous in your purchases. There are so many shops that carry anything you can imagine in diaminds, jewlery, watches. Also several local squares where you can purchase local made items.
Don't Miss: Shop till you drop

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

We walked the area around the port. Visited some quaint boutiques and rested with some great fruit drinks in the square.
Don't Miss: The spice shop
