7 Night Southern Caribbean Explorer (San Juan Roundtrip)
Sail Date: April 14, 2007
Ship: Crown Princess
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Large Group
Reviewed: 7 years ago
This new(er), huge ship has sacrificed everything in order to cram more people aboard. We were so disappointed in the small size of the common areas. You had to get to a show at least 1/2 hour early or you didn't get a seat. Service all-around was poor and the purser staff were extremely rude. None of the celebrations we filled out online (4 months prior to cruising) were honored. We were a group of 4 couples traveling together to celebrate birthdays.

Snorkeling trip on the Mushi Mushi. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and the snorkeling spot is full of fish!

We booked a private tour with Henry's Triple-E Tours. The tour and our driver were fantastic!
Don't Miss: View of Magen's Bay from Mountain Top

A taxi to Turtle Beach was the drive of a lifetime! You really get to see a lot of the island this way. Get an aloe rub!
Don't Miss: Turtle Beach monkeys

We took a water taxi to Grand Anse beach. Really cheap... only $3 per person each way. However, the vendors on the beach are relentless. They do not take no for an answer and become very rude if you won't buy. They ruined a day on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.
