Review summary

Make the food more enjoyable, variety is a big plus, was almost same food every day at the buffet. PLEASE, do not charge for saunas, it used to be all free and included in your cruise, it's supposed to be all inclusive but was very sad to find out you need to pay to get to a sauna. Gym was free of a charge, thanks God. The first night we got a program in Italian (not English), they should know where people are coming from. I know Costa is catered more for Italians/Spanish guests but still. Also, embarkation at each port was kind of unknow (about the time), it will help to make announcements in all languages of when you can embark.

Embarkation

Need to make announcements of when we can leave the ship instead of us checking with the staff all the time

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food have gone down the hill in comparison with 10-15 years ago. Hot water/tea not available at dinner was a bummer.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We've been to few sport activities, pretty good

Entertainment

4 out of 5
shows were very good

Children's Programs

haven't done any

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
It looked like not all staff are happy to be on the ship, again service went down the hill, not everyone is friendly and helpful. Staff with cameras aren't polite at all. There are only few staff that truly were enjoying the job

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The carpet needs much deeper cleaning, the design is not good at all, was very hard to navigate the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was good but there was an odor coming from the toilet most of the days which I don't remember before.

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain Did not visit port

No free shuttle buses were provided by the ship, it costs 19 euros per person to get on a bus that will drive you to the city, cabs were much cheaper but they weren't by the ship. Poor shuttle organization by the ship
