Review summary

We did not check the review of this cruise BEFORE booking. We should avoid this big ship with a crowd. We feel more comfortable with smaller ships and with more adult Americans fellow cruisers. We could have enjoyed the outdoor areas of this beautiful ship more IF there were less smokers were there. There should have specific designated smoking areas on the ship as Celebrity cruise lines do.

Food and Dining

The food was OK! Same types of boring dishes in buffet lines for all 3 meals! We ate at the assigned main dining restaurants only twice because we were not fond of the dishes served. The water stations should be open 24/24 for passengers to get the water when needed.

Onboard Activities

There were too many people and not enough seats for all of the entertainments except for the ballroom dance. We ended up spending time in our cabin to avoid the noisy crowds with so many children, especially rowdy and misbehaved teenagers.

Entertainment

Did not have the chance to attend any, except for one band played at the ballroom dance on the all white night.

We are a mature couple.

We love our cabin and the balcony. We wish it has a small refrigerator as othe cruise lines.

Ship tip

Mature cruisers should be warned of the young families of fellow cruisers so they can decide if this cruise is appropriate for them. To us, this is one of the least enjoyable cruises we took the last 25 years. Luckiky, our cabin and the five ports of call made up for all other dissatisfied factors mentioned above..

The walk from the ship to the waiting area from the free shuttle is rather long and tiring. Plus the waiting time for the outbound shuttle was too long!!
