Review summary
While the ship was beautiful and the entertainment was impressive, we felt like we were lost in another country. The main languages were italian and french, and there was not much in english. The ship was very clean and well maintained. Can't say the food was very impressive-the cheeseburgers were NOT cheeseburgers, and they got their meats mixed up more than once I noticed. I was disappointed to see their were no cafes where you could get dessert or coffee. People were rude and not very knowlegable about anything. The fact that we had to wait an hour or two just to wait for a tender to take us ashore in each port was infuriating-in Grand Caymen we waited 2 hours and Costa had to use their own lifeboats to take people ashore. Poor planning on Costa's part. That ruins half your day!Ports of call
Pros: Beautiful ship, great entertainment!
Cons: Horrible food, rude people, lack of correct info.
Recommends Costa Mediterranea? No.
