Review summary

While the ship was beautiful and the entertainment was impressive, we felt like we were lost in another country. The main languages were italian and french, and there was not much in english. The ship was very clean and well maintained. Can't say the food was very impressive-the cheeseburgers were NOT cheeseburgers, and they got their meats mixed up more than once I noticed. I was disappointed to see their were no cafes where you could get dessert or coffee. People were rude and not very knowlegable about anything. The fact that we had to wait an hour or two just to wait for a tender to take us ashore in each port was infuriating-in Grand Caymen we waited 2 hours and Costa had to use their own lifeboats to take people ashore. Poor planning on Costa's part. That ruins half your day!

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

The underground caverns are a must see-there are a natural beauty as are the beaches. Shopping is great if you can tolerate a little pushiness, but worth the bargains you can find compared to other islands. The ruins are really worth seeing as well-a lot of history to be seen.
Don't Miss: Definitly the cavern and beach excursion by 4x4 jeeps

George Town, Grand Cayman

Stingray city is a must! I've done this at other places but it's not the same as in Grand Cayman. They are soft and gentle creatures-and harmless!
Don't Miss: Stingray City

Certainly not much to do except for an excursion to a beach-
Don't Miss: beaches

Ocho Rios, Jamaica
