Review summary
The Costa Mediterranea is truly a beautiful ship. Not a detail was overlooked. What was surprising was that there were so few English speaking people aboard the ship which sailed from Italy. We were aboard another Costa ship years ago in the Caribbean and the make-up of the passengers was entirely different. Had we been informed about the fact that this ship (and Costa in general) caters to Euorpeans, we might have thought twice about booking this cruise.Ports of call

Pros: The ship was truly magnificent and the ports were so interesting.
Cons: Unfortunately, out of 2,500 passengers, only about 300 spoke English and of those only about 100 were Americans.
