Review summary

We had a great vacation on board the Costa Mediterranea and I would recommend the ship to anyone interested in cruising. We enjoyed the multi-national aspect of the cruise and the strong continental flair. Everything was spotless all of the time. Our suite was fantastic - roomy, plenty of storage space and had a very roomy balcony with a great wooden chaise lounge, table and chair. The entertainment was great from the lounge singers to the shows.

Key West, Florida

The tour of Key West was the best way to see it and also provided time for shopping and sight-seeing on your own.

Cozumel, Mexico

The shopping in Cozumel was absolutely fantastic. We really appreciated the staff's advice. The maps provided by staff for each port of call were very accurate and a great benefit.

Pros: The ship was absolutely beautiful, and the staff was always prompt and couteous, but not intrusive.

Cons: Most of the entrees came in sauces that were fairly high in salt, but the food was good. Club Medusa was fantastic, even with a relatively small surcharge!
