Review summary

The Costa Mediterranea was superb! My new husband and I embarked on a honeymoon cruise that will not be forgotten. This was my second cruise and his first and we loved every minute. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and we were VERY impressed that our cabin-steward greeted us by name wherever we saw him. The ship is very clean and we saw staff polishing every square inch at all hours of the day. We loved the cuisine as well, especially the italian flare. The diverse cultural influences only added to an already magnificent cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We actually preferred the buffets over the formal dining room. We enjoyed the food, but overheard a lot of the more experienced cruisers stating other ships had better cuisine.

Entertainment

We didn't attend many shows, but there was always something to do.
