we have been on several other luding once before on the costa magica prior to this trip and i must say that this cruise was not up to par. the crew seemed tired and unenthusistic although certain crew members were excellent many did not do any more than the minimum.i must comment on the menu many of the italian specialties were very good but lobster was never offered neither was prime ribs, the steak was dissapointing and very often the breakfast was cold,the omelet station in the buffet closed by 9:30 am and the dining room closed for breakfast if you were not seated by 10:00 am. i found that the servers did not seem to understand the food and with 2 days of shore excursions cancelled, the best that was offered by the cruise line was a $10 dollar refund of port charges(seems very miserly to me) my wife and i enjoy crusing but i do not think that costa will be our choice of cruise lines

This ship was clean, people were friendly, we had a great time. Details were taken care of the whole trip. The food was fair. I was ready for great pizza on an Italian cruise line. It was not very good. But, the food was not bad and I would recommend this ship to anyone!

Very clean, nice people that worked on the boat, itenerary was great and very helpfull. I just loved the whole thing all together and will be booking another cruise with the same boat next year.

This was a 7 night cuise. The boarding was very slow and disorganized. It is an Italian ship decorated to look Italian but it looks cheap.

The ship was clean, the staff was friendly & attentive to detail. We had a customer service issue created by the booking agent that wasn't even Costa's fault, but it was handled quickly & efficiently!

Everything was well organized, excellent food, good shows . I recomend this cruise line.

I thought the Food was excellent in presentation and taste.

My spouse and I are of the older generation. We had experience and Ideas of what we wanted. We wanted to spend time exclusively with each other. THe cruise to the carribean took care of that. I did not have to worry about cookinbg and cleaning and he didn\'t have to worry about working around the house. He had never cruised before or gone to this part of the carribean and ni\either had I. New places for new beginings., along with new experiences. We got to try Scuba diving with out taking long couses, but we loved it and will see about taking the classes at home. We have horses at home and miss them, in the Dominican Republic we rented horses and got to see more of the interior, (also at a great resort, which may be a vaction spot in the futrue.), at faster than a walk. The Costa port at the Turks is really wonderful. It even has a Margarittavilles by Jimmy Buffet. It is beautiful and clean. I won't talk about the food as I gained 6lbs on the trip.

We love the ship and staff. We took the exact same cruise in Costa Magica last year. The ship is beautiful and spotless clean. Food service is very good. Daily entertainment is excellent. Ports and tours were excellent. This cruise is a wonderful value. The only negative is a rather long delay before getting the main course almost every night.

The ship was standard,Shows were very good. Food was fair. Tables along the buffet areas were not clean; waiters only removed the dishes.

The Costa Magica is a beautiful ship. The service was excellent. The shows were lacking in the WOW factor. Dinner choices were not the best, they did not offer something that everybody would love. One night the fillet of beef we ordered was bad and they did not have any other beef to offer. Although we were disappointed with the food and shows, we still had a good time because of the people we traveled with and the new people we met.

The new stop of Grand Turks is GREAT, this is approx our 20th cruise, the 5th with Costa Cruise Line. They really need to spend money on improving their mattress and pillows

The ship was clean, well-kept and staffed with friendly, helpful people. We have been on many, many cruises, and found our vacation on the Costa Magica to be the BEST cruise ever!
