no too bad, but not great

The Costa Magica is a beautiful ship. The service was excellent. The shows were lacking in the WOW factor. Dinner choices were not the best, they did not offer something that everybody would love. One night the fillet of beef we ordered was bad and they did not have any other beef to offer. Although we were disappointed with the food and shows, we still had a good time because of the people we traveled with and the new people we met.

Pros: The people we traveled with

Cons: The dinner food choices

Recommends Costa Magica? Yes!

Food and Dining
The shows need improvement.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Our cabin was very nice but the drapes needed cleaning and the mattresses were thin (more like a cot). Our cabin steward was excellent
Service and Staff
The staff on the cruise were excellent
San Juan, Puerto Rico
The ship could skip this port
Grand Turk Island
The beach is beautiful and is right off the ship. there is shopping also. we wish that we had more time here.
Don't Miss: The beach
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Shopping is the best here
Casa De Campo, Dominican Republic
The ship spent too long in this port, there is really nothing exciting about it
