After taking many cruises on 6 different cruise lines this was the worst one. They cancelled two of our tours (not enough booked them), they cancelled a port stop in Sicily (the only reason we booked on Costa was that they stopped there), you cannot download the Costa app on US phones and the food was terrible. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary along with my in-laws celebrating their 6oth and my son celebrating his 15th. We were all very disappointed and wished we would have done something else. It will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

The ships main dining room and buffets served terrible tasting food. During the entire cruise they try to get you to pay to eat in the specialty restaurants. Some of the employees said you'll regret not paying more to eat in them and they were right. The bars were very slow and most of the drinks we ordered were not drinkable. From bar to bar the same drinks would taste different. At dinner you get water or wine, no soda, tea or coffee. All 6 of us traveling together agreed the food and drinks were bad. No free pizza, ice cream or burgers, just ones you have to pay extra for.
Onboard Activities

Not too much to do onboard. The indoor pool is small and was closed most of the time. The outside pools were also closed the entire time. English speaking passengers were excluded in any games that were played.
Entertainment

Some of the shows were good but only lasting 30 minutes. The late-night parties didn't start til after 1am but there was nothing to do from 10pm til. Why so late?

Our waiter was nice but knew the food sucked and would keep apologizing for it. Many servers at the buffet would not acknowledge or greet you. At least half of the staff looked miserable. Our cabin steward was very sweet.

It was easy to get around the ship and the elevators were quick. It would take a long time for tables to be cleared.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin is a standard size for a cruise ship. The beds are very firm. The cabin makes a lot of noise at night so bring a sound machine. Squeaks, rattling and vibrations will keep you up.

Unless you have no the options, choose another cruise line.
They cancelled our tour due to low bookings at the last minute. They put us on another city tour that was terrible. Halfway thru we left the tour and did our own thing.
