I have never cruised on such a large ship and was concerned about crowds. Only the elevators were full. There was plenty of space to enjoy yourself. The entertainment was not as good as my previous Costa Cruise experiences. It was better than many other cruise line entertainment. My room was great.

First and last time with Costa Cruises. I normally sail with Cunard or P&O. It’s great for families on a budget but it’s just not my cup of tea. It’s too loud and active for me.

The ports of call were great and I couldn’t fault any excursion however Diadema was lacking. That was my first cruise with Costa and my last I have cruised with P&O, Cunard and HAL which are so much better as they offer a traditional cruise aimed at a slightly more mature market. Costa is very family oriented, the food isn’t the best food I’ve had but it was edible, the ships design was in your face with neon lights which just isn’t appealing to me.

Very very bad place and food , and time is just 1 hour to take the lunch or dinner , then they close , and you will not get any food because their is thousands of people in the line !! You can’t take any food for just 1 hour with thousands of people , theirs no water no tea no coffee for free you have to pay for all!!! Very very bad cleaning , the room was very derty !! and flooding bathroom, we couldnt use It , we used restaurant bathrooms!!

I am simply aghast. I gifted my son & new daughter-in-law, thru my travel agent, a Honeymoon cruise on the same ship I was on previously, Costa Diadema, because I loved it. BUT I am beyond sick to my stomach after hearing from them on Monday, June 5, 2023. Instead of walking into a cabin with a queen/king size bed, they got to their room and found themselves with what apparently is a sofa couch AND a twin bed!! Apparently these rooms can't be made up into KING SIZE beds. (After speaking to my travel agent, even they were shocked! The info available to them, says two twins convertible into king!) My son & DIL immediately went to Guest Services, FIVE HOURS BEFORE LEAVING DOCK, even spoke to a Supervisor, as I did here in America, they were told there was nothing they could do; BUT they could move them IF they paid €400/pp. (€800) to upgrade, only then could they have a room where two twins would be pushed together to make 1 king size bed. UTTERLY RIDICULOUS! Where is the compassion, consideration & understanding to a once in a lifetime (HONEYMOON) event?! This cabin is advertised as convertible beds, like 99% of the cabins onboard!!! I'm sooo disappointed, I could cry! This isn't what I paid for! They're in a GUARANTEED room! It should, at the very least, have a KING SIZE BED for a newlywed couple! THIS is INSANITY! I have to believe there had to be ONE cabin on the ship that is EMPTY so they can share the same bed! (Tho LOGIC tells me there is - for €800!) Who can't see how cruel & ridiculous this horrendous treatment is?! SOOO now my son & his beautiful new wife are on their honeymoon, sleeping in twin beds across the room from each other... Unbelievable!! Talk about ruining a special couple's honeymoon trip! What was meant to be an extraordinary memory has turned into a nightmare!!! Costa Cruises NEEDS to make this right!!! Ruining a once in a lifetime honeymoon feels so heartless and cruel.
