Review summary

First and last time with Costa Cruises. I normally sail with Cunard or P&O. It’s great for families on a budget but it’s just not my cup of tea. It’s too loud and active for me.

Relatively slow and slightly disorganised.

The food was edible but not great. The dining room was like some sort of party with all the waiters singing and dancing which isn’t what you want when you are trying to eat your evening meal.

Very family oriented and slightly loud. Not for me.

Entertainment

The stage shows were adequate and the singers were just alright.

Our steward was friendly when we saw him however the staff on the ship didn’t appear to be helpful however they were pleasant.

The ship was clean however the design is just ghastly.

Worst “grand suite” I have ever stayed in. It’s comfortable enough however it feels like something out of the 70s.
