the italian themed design and international atmosphere made it unique to our cruising experience. the ship is beautiful and well maintained . very friendly staff and great variety shows. Two "happy hours" and daily afternoon teas and pastry also seem to be unique to this industry.

I had an absolutely fabulous time on this cruise. The passengers were a mostly older crowd so at first I was concerned that my sister and I wouldn't have much fun, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The nightly entertainment shows with the cruise staff which involved the crowd were so hilarious, I was at times almost falling out of my seat. The staff is very talented in speaking many languages, always smiling, always helpful. The ship itself is very beautifully decorated Italian style. There were many things to choose from to do throughout the day. Embarakation and all excursions were managed very smoothly with not much waiting in lines or confusion of any sort on where to go. I would recommend Costa cruises to anyone I know. Great experience and can't wait to go again!

ship was okay food was no good and not much of a selection,,key west and cozumel are tourist traps,,,,,totally,,,,,excursions are not what they advertise,,,,

This ship, Costa Atlantica, was just the right size .. not too big and not too small. The International feel was quite charming and the other passengers were interesting and fun! It was especially nice to be on a ship with just a handful of toddlers and teenagers. This was my favorite stateroom in all 5 cruises I have taken - I would highly recommend the Costa Cruise Line!

Nice ship. Too short of time in some ports of call.

The staff were very friendly. The stewerdess made a point of greeting us by name.

The staff onboard were very welcoming and made you feel like family and comfortable. There was always some type of entertainment going on. The port's were beautiful.

The ship was very clean and well laid out. It was easy to find my way around. The crew and staff were excellent - always professional, knowledgeable and helpful.

Ship could be refreshed mainly carpets.Other then that we enjoyed the cruise

Nice interior design, very fast elevators, outstanding quality bed in state room' entertainment wonderful. Singers and musicians in bars very friendly to the visitors, restaurant Tiziano is great in all aspects Buffet and pizzeria working from early morning till late night and offer hot meal..

The ship was fine. As most cruise lines a constant cleaning program was in place. The cabin was spacious and comfortable.

over a good value but the food was ok at best- I've been on 13 cruises

I am native Italian and live here in the States for many. I always wanted the experience of an Italian cruise, and Costa Atlantica gave the ultimate experience. The cruise was fabulous, the cousine outstanding, the service superb. I had such a marvoulous time that I will be speaking to my friends, family and co-workers for many months to come, as a matter of fact I will try to convince some of them to join me on the next trip. The entrance of the ship is truly amazing with all the paintings, frescos and art work, I felt that I was in Venice. The Botticelli buffett was remarkable will all the varieties of food changed on daily basis that an individual would only find if he was to visit the old country. The dessert and coffee delightful. I was so excided each morning when I was seved cappuccino and espresso in my cabin. Another event which I have not seen in a while is the tea time, which it was every afternoon at 4:00. One evening we had a Roman night, which was great with everyone dressed in toga's and staff participating in the events. Talent night . Mr. Pizza event., and of coure dancing to all types of music in different area of the ship. Let not forget some of us tried our luck at the Casino Fortuna, but overall it was fun. I would like very much to travel with Costa cruises again the future, and once again I would highly recommend it to my friends. I do hope that one day they woud consider routing out of Los Angeles area, that woud be great,considering the large European population in this area. I very much want to say "Thank You" to the staff of COSTA ATLANTICA to make feel a special guest and part of your family for the week of January 9th to 16th of 2010. I feel the ship was well maintained. i can't say a bad thing about it, the crew the whole staff were helpful courteous. i could have sailed for another week.

Our ship was clean and beautifully decorated. The service was very good. We took our kids (age 8, 11, 14, 15) for the first time and our kids loved the kids programs and loved making friends from other countries. One things that was different from our other cruises was the diversity of passengers. I very much enjoyed this aspect of this ship. The announcements in different languages did NOT get on my nerves, but enhanced our vacation.

If you can read this you will likely enjoy a budget american cruise line more than Costa. If the price is the same. I am an American and I speak English. I never realized how quickly listening to everything in three to five languages could get teadious. The entertainment often lost its flow because every statement had to be repeated in many languages. The announcer would switch from English to Italian to Spanish to French and would be five words into the next English phrase before you realized that you should have started paying attention already.
