Review summary
The 15 day west to east Panama Cruise was well worth the time and cost. We left San Fransisco, sailed to Cabo san Lucas, San Juan Nicaragua, Puntarenas Costa Rica, Fuerte Amador Panama, Panama Canal old locks transit, Cartagena Columbia, then to Ft. Lauderdale Florida. We had sunny days and calm seas. The ports we had to tender to were easy quick and efficient. The weather from Costa Rica to Cartagena was hot 30C and humid and this was the dry season in November. Just have loose cotton clothes. My wife bought a hand fan which worked well. And of course drink lots of water. Going through the old canal was a thrill of a lifetime. Both on shore and on ship there were tours, videos, and special speakers who provided the canals history, construction and use today. For us, this was a trip of a lifetime in a world we need to see.Embarkation
